This policy has been updated to comply with the Employment Relations (Flexible Working) Act 2023.

Examples of flexible working include changing working hours, working from home, staggered working hours, flexi-time, time off in lieu, job sharing, shift working/shift swapping, school term time working, reduced working time, and self-rostering.

- Alteration of this Policy
Under the Employment Relations (Flexible Working) Act 2023, employees have a day-one right to request flexible working.
An employer has a statutory duty to consider any such request seriously. For this reason, it is important to have a clear, Flexible Working Policy in place.
